Why Choose Us

With a background marked by childhood adversity and a high ACE score, our founder brings a unique and deeply-personal perspective to professional learning. As a career educator with over 20 years of experience and a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction, he is part of the 2% of Black male administrators in education. This dual experience as both a patient and practitioner allows us to connect with and understand the needs of educators and students on a profound level.

Our founder’s authenticity and transparency about his past and present enable us to inspire vulnerability in others. By sharing his journey openly, we create a safe space where educators and students feel empowered to be vulnerable, fostering a community of connection and mutual support. This culture of openness leads to stronger, more empathetic relationships within school communities.

Combining extensive experience and the power of vulnerability, we develop the most impactful, actionable strategies. These strategies are grounded in research and enriched by practical, real-world insights. Educators and students leave our workshops equipped with effective tools and practices they can immediately implement to enhance empathy, communication, and connection within their schools.
